Again this is still full tournament load and full fuel. RPM reached 5700 with a GPS speed of 69.4. Hole shot with this prop was strong with out a stop watch I really couldn't say it was any faster than the other two props. Next prop was a 26 pitch Bravo that has eight ventilation ports. The Legend hull corners very well with the three blade prop, I honestly didn't feel there was any room for improvement there anyway, same with the hole shot the boat jumps out of the hole with the tempest so there wasn't any room to improve there either.
Cornering and hole shot were good with no significant difference over the Tempest. This prop performed well and did increase RPM's to 5800 full tournament load and two people, however the speed dropped to 68.9 and would flash 69 occasionally The boat handled very well appeared to have a little more lift but not very significant compared to the Tempest. So Robbie (Realdealprops from the site here) sent me a 25 pitch Trophy. I have been wanting to get the RPM's up closer to the 6000 mark that Mercury wants this motor running at. The original prop is a 27 Tempest, RPM's with this prop run 5500 and on a cold day we can get 5550-5600 and GPS to 71.2

We are running a 225 Pro XS at about 3.75 inches below pad.Īll tests were done with full tournament load and fuel tank. Well we finally got to play with a couple props on the Legend.
